Parents Who've Lost Children

This is often referred to as the ultimate tragedy. No parent should have to bury their child. There are constant reminders of what could have been had their life not been cut short. Surviving this takes a desire for life and commitment to finding purpose in a new normal. This experience has already changed you. This group is designed to help guide you through these changes and the changes to come and allow you to feel the support of a community who truly understands. Make a new commitment to living, as hard or impossible as it may seem, because you will survive this. We can show you how.

Major Life Change & Loss

Major life events can bring profound grief : Loss of a career, divorce, loss of religion, loss of loved ones, financial struggles, and unexpected disaster. These and other events can require us to create a new life for ourselves, even a new identity post trauma. It can be difficult to articulate how you’re feeling and decide where you go from here but we can promise you that there is hope and promise on the other side of grief and loss. In this group, you’ll join others facing similar loss, and under the direction of seasoned clinicians, learn the skills and experience to rebuild yourself in a new way. Michele and Alisa will help you understand what you are feeling and why, how to direct a new path for yourself, and most importantly, give you the tools you need to find passion and purpose in your next phase of life.

Loss of Parent, Partner, Loved One

Losing your partner, parent, or friend is devastating and requires one of the biggest life adjustments you’ll ever make. You are accustomed to their continued presence, their hugs, their smile. You miss everything from the kiss “hello” they gave when you walked through the door, to them leaving their underwear on the bathroom floor every morning. You even miss arguing. Now you’ve gone from being a husband, daughter, or best friend to a widow or orphan and it’s natural and appropriate for you to grieve. Our group allows you to do that among friends, with qualified therapists, and lots of resources and knowledge to help you create a new normal, together, one day at a time.

Infertility & Miscarriage

Struggles with fertility can lead to misplaced feelings of blame, guilt, shame, and regret. While infertility is not uncommon, it’s typically something that is held privately, and that makes it easy to feel like you’re alone. Know that you never have to face this alone. We’re here to help you through these feelings of loss and provide support for the emotional toll it can take on you. Our experts will help you understand what you are feeling and why, and most importantly, give you the tools you need to find joy and peace in your life, whatever it has in store for you.
